A precious metal. Osmium is used in pens and in electronic applications. Discovered in 1804 by Englishman Smithson Tennent in the residue left by dissolving platinum in aqua regia.

Osmium is expensive. If you have some, hang on to it. Or sell it. Or use it to advance the cause of science.
